Math Notebook
Each student will need to keep a math spiral for note-taking and practice problems. Each page will include the title of the assignment and page number. There will be a notebook check at the end of each grading period. We will set up the notebook during class. Teams Class Notebook You will also have a digital notebook on Microsoft Teams. Your class notebook on Teams will have additional notes, examples, vocabulary words, and other important information. You will also have practice worksheets that will be added to your digital notebook. More information will be given during class. Absences There will be times that you may have to miss class. You are still responsible for the material that was covered. It is important to check the Weekly Agenda for the day(s) you missed to see what lessons & assignments need to be made up. If you have questions, please contact me. ONE DAY will be given to make up work for each day absent before it will be considered late |
Student Work Students will be asked to show their understanding in written, typed, verbal, and visual ways. This may include recording videos or audio, and taking pictures. I do expect students to take notes in their math spiral each class period. Assignments will be managed through Microsoft Teams. Directions for submission and due dates will be posted within the assignment. Late Work/Academic Honesty It is important that you turn in your assignments on time. Late assignments will be accepted, but points will be deducted. Late assignments need to be turned in within a week of the original due date before it will not be accepted. Check Power School and Microsoft Teams on a consistent basis for the most updated information on grades. Collaboration among students is encouraged, but copying and cheating is not considered collaboration. Each student needs to complete their work in their own words and writing to the best of their abilities. |
